Can I send photos of my pets so the artist paints a portrait?

Is it possible to purchase a portrait from the collection?

Portraits from the collection can not be purchased. At our website you can purchase a print from any portrait from the collection. Different from posters, art prints are not a commercial products, but a form of art, created under the artist's supervision. Purchasing a print, you get a real painting in a modern presentation. Every art print is signature certified and distributed by the artist. Buying an original art print, you get your very own exclusive copy of a painting. These prints proves the Animal Century Portraits to be even more wonderfully looking in person, than as a digital image. While the art collection remains private at the time, and has never been presented publicly, having a print in front of your eyes is a great way to imagine how an original painting looks like.

How portraits are made?

The process of making Animal Century portraits takes long time, depends on the difficulty and creativity of put-up image. When the character to be portrayed is chosen, the artist starts picking up the costume, browses into materials about fashion, consults about the characters attitude and what color of the outfit would fit it. She takes to the attention every detail of the portrait - every portrait must be unrepeatable! When the time to make portrait in colour comes, the artist uses her own, developed through years author technique. One portrait can take a month or more to make, including all corrections and improvements.

Are there animals to pose for the portrait?

Sometimes. But characters are also portrayed from photos.

Does Animal Century dress up animals for portraying them?

It is possible, if a cat or dog in a beautiful hat would inspire the artist to paint a portrait. But it all depends on the situation.

Why the cat/dog breed I have is not portrayed?

There are over 100 breeds of dogs and cats in the collection, and we portray more and more.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

Click the "Shopping Bag" link at the top right hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Changing quantities is not possible, because every month we make only a few copies of each print. If you would like to order more than one print of the total number available, please add the print you wish to order to your shopping bag (click "Buy Now"), and come back to the print page to click "Buy Now" once more. If you want to delete an item, click the "Remove" link, and then "OK" in a pop-up window. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has been shipped, the order is no longer editable.

How much is my shipping?

Shipping to all countries costs 10$ (7 Euro).

Do you ship to my country?

We ship to all countries.

What are my payment choices?

At the moment payments are proceed via PayPal.

When my order will be shipped?

We will ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you. We send you the notification message with the tracking code for your package. We ship from Germany. Normally your order should be delivered to you within 2-3 weeks, but it may take over 1 month to ship the package from Europe to the United States of America, Latin America or Australia. If you would like to receive your package faster, please contact us at palace@animalcentury.com for individual shipping choices.

What is the return policy?

If you're not completely satisfied, contact us, or return your order in ORIGINAL CONDITION and the reason for your return via insured mail within 30 days.

What if my order is damaged?

Should you receive a damaged package, contact us. Retain all original, damaged packing materials and we'll arrange for a replacement. Please be careful when unpacking your order, we are not responsible for damage occurring during the unpacking of the package.
