Hero Pug and his Military Romance

The very first interview in a special rubric of our Gazette - Dog Interviews. We asked the noble resident of our Kingdom - Military Pug - to tell us about his life. We sent our correspondent to the County of Gundogs, where he was training some young military dogs. We thought, that he will tell us stories about his daily pug life, and especially about his hero adventures. But we were mistaken - our hero pug turned out as a completely different dog!

Sir Pug, please, tell our gazette about your unusual life as military pug.
Dear sir Chihuahua. Today I would not like to tell you about troubles of pugs, nor about other dogs'. That is already told by Dachshund Officer in his memoirs Difficult, but wonderful life of Officer de Dachshund. I would like to tell about other, sacred things.
Just like other military dogs (and pugs particularly), when i am far away from home a dog melancholy starts to bother me. And I found a way to be in a good mood. I write poems about dog life. Sometimes I write love poems and send them to ladies from Animal Century Kingdom. For example, not long ago Lady Chihuahua received a long poem about the love of pugs. But I also sent my poems to Lady Poodle, Lady Pug, and to her sister Lady Pug the Second...By the way, it's a secret. Yes, I write to many Lady Dogs, but my poems are different all the time. For example, Lady Poodle received a poem called Beautiful Lady Poodle and Bouquet of Lilacs, and Lady Chihuahua was amazed by the poem Pug and Chihuahua against Dog Prejudice. So, it is lyrics. What I really love to write is poems about military pug campaigns. I already wrote the first volume of this poems. Here are some titles: Pugs and the Courage; Pugs, Whom we Remember; Pugs are the Truth...
I am really intrigued by your poems. Until this moment I was interested only in poems of Chihuahua poets of European Dog Middle Ages, but since i met you...Please, tell if you write military poems about other dogs?
Yes, sometimes. I also wrote a few poems about shepherds and setters. And I wrote the real hero poem about the middle aged campaign of the King Dogge de Bordeaux that is called Dogge de Bordeaux and the Royal Courage. About other dogs, unfortunately, I don't have time to write. Poems are only my hobby. I am still military pug and have to lead a military lifestyle.
